2022 Campaign: 3D Printing in Food Industry

Malnutrition is a major issue in hospitalized patients and has negative consequences on the clinical outcome. Particularly with respect to child in-patients a poor eating behavior is of concern. 3D printing of food seems to be a promising technology to design meals in new, attractive forms. It might also allow adding special nutritional components.
